Article 3-1. The main goals, principles and objectives of this Law On the rights of the child in the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The main objectives of this Law are to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of children, strengthen the basic guarantees of children's rights and restore rights in cases of violations.
2. The basic principles of this Law are recognized as:
1) the priority of preparing children for a fulfilling life in society;
2) the development of socially significant and creative activity in children;
3) the development of high moral qualities, patriotism and citizenship, the formation of national identity based on the universal values of world civilization.
3. The main objectives of this Law are:
1) legislative provision of the rights and legitimate interests of children, as well as the formation of the legal basis for guarantees of children's rights;
2) development and implementation of measures to ensure children's rights;
3) to promote the physical, intellectual, spiritual and moral development of children, the formation of their legal awareness and legal culture, the education of patriotism, citizenship and peacefulness in them, as well as the realization of the child's personality in the interests of society, the traditions of the people of Kazakhstan, achievements of national and world culture;
4) creation of appropriate bodies and organizations to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the child;
5) formation and provision of effective functioning and improvement of the system of protection of children's rights;
6) the establishment of state minimum social standards aimed at improving the lives of children.
