Article 30. Acquisition of the right of State ownership of the discovery of the Law on State Property
1. An item found in a room or on a transport that belongs to the state, or an item whose owner's location is unknown, is transferred to district communal ownership on a general basis in accordance with Article 245 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. In the case provided for by the second part of paragraph 4 of Article 245 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, nakhodka passes into the district communal ownership.
In case of transfer of the item to the district communal ownership, the finder has the right to be reimbursed by the local executive authorities of the districts and cities of regional significance for the necessary expenses related to the storage, delivery and sale of the item.
