1. Design and construction should be carried out according to the design documentation, which provides for measures to ensure seismic safety, as well as conditions for emergency evacuation of people in case of an earthquake.

2. To reduce the damage to construction sites from an earthquake, it is necessary to meet the following basic requirements:

1) compliance with the requirements of state regulatory documents on design and construction in seismic zones;

2) selection of a favorable site for construction, including in relation to hydrogeological conditions and the level of seismic hazard, as well as in compliance with building requirements, taking into account maps of seismic microzoning (if any);

3) ensuring the availability of detailed information on the seismic hazard of territories to be developed for construction of construction sites.
