Article 4. Chairman, Deputy Chairman and judges of the Constitutional Court of the Constitutional Law on the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The Chairman, Deputy Chairman and judges of the Constitutional Court are persons holding responsible public office, whose status is determined by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and this Constitutional Law.
2. The position of a judge of the Constitutional Court is incompatible with a deputy's mandate, holding other paid positions other than teaching, scientific or other creative activities, carrying out entrepreneurial activities, and joining the governing body or supervisory board of a commercial organization.
The Chairman and judges of the Constitutional Court should not be members of political parties, trade unions, or support any political party.
If, at the time of his appointment, a judge of the Constitutional Court is a member of a political party or trade unions, he must terminate his membership in them within ten days from the date of his appointment.
