Article 419. A deliberately false denunciation The Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1 Knowingly false denunciation of the commission of a criminal offense –
is punishable by a fine in the amount of up to two hundred monthly calculation indices, or correctional labor in the same amount, or community service for up to two hundred hours.
2 Knowingly false denunciation of the commission of a crime –
is punishable by a fine in the amount of up to four thousand monthly calculation indices, or correctional labor in the same amount, or community service for up to one thousand hours, or restriction of liberty for up to five years, or imprisonment for the same term.
3 An act provided for in the second part of this article, connected with the accusation of a person of committing a corrupt, grave or especially grave crime, or committed out of mercenary motives, –
is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to eight years.
4 The acts provided for in the second or third parts of this Article committed in the interests of a criminal group, –
are punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to twelve years.
