Article 433. Concealment of a criminal offense of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Deliberate concealment of a criminal offense or a crime of minor or moderate gravity from registration, committed by an authorized official by deception, persuasion, threat or other unlawful actions against a person who has filed a statement or report on a reliably prepared or committed criminal offense, or by destroying or concealing in any other way the treatment of the specified person., –
is punishable by a fine in the amount of up to two thousand monthly calculation indices, or correctional labor in the same amount, or community service for up to six hundred hours, or restriction of liberty for up to two years, or imprisonment for the same term, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years. years old.
2 The same act that entailed the concealment of a grave crime, –
is punishable by a fine in the amount of up to five thousand monthly calculation indices, or correctional labor in the same amount, or community service for up to one thousand two hundred hours, or restriction of liberty for up to five years, or imprisonment for the same term, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to five years.
3 The acts provided for in the first or second parts of this Article:
1) entailed the concealment of a particularly serious crime or grave consequences;
2) committed by a group of persons by prior agreement, –
are punishable by restriction of liberty for a term of three to seven years or by imprisonment for the same term, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to five years.
4 The acts provided for in the first, second or third parts of this Article, committed by an official holding a responsible public position or by the head of an authorized state body, or at the direction of these persons, –
are punishable by imprisonment for a term of four to ten years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to five years.
