Article 49. Deprivation of a special, military or honorary title, class rank, diplomatic rank, qualification class and state awards of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

When convicted of committing an intentional criminal offense, taking into account the identity of the perpetrator, the court may deprive him of a special, military, honorary or other title, class rank, diplomatic rank, qualification class.

When convicted of committing an intentional criminal offense of a person holding state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as a special, military, honorary or other rank, class rank, diplomatic rank or qualification class awarded by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the court may, when sentencing, submit, and for corruption crimes, submit a submission to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the deprivation of these awards, titles, class rank, diplomatic rank, or qualification class.
