1. The accreditation of the certification center is the official recognition by the authorized body in the field of cybersecurity of the competence of the certification center in the provision of services.

2. The accreditation of certification centers is a prerequisite for certification centers (with the exception of the root certification center of the Republic of Kazakhstan) to carry out their activities on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The accreditation is carried out by the authorized body in the field of cybersecurity.

3. The accreditation of the certification center is carried out free of charge for a period of three years, unless a shorter period is specified in the application of the certification center in accordance with the rules for issuing and revoking certificates of accreditation of certification centers approved by the authorized body.
