1. Digital archive – a set of electronic archival documents and electronic copies of archival documents organized and stored in electronic form in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body in the field of archival affairs and documentation management.

2. The digital archive functions in order to preserve the cultural heritage of the people of Kazakhstan.

3. The digital archive ensures the accessibility, safety, integrity and confidentiality of the stored information in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4. The procedure for the functioning of a digital archive is determined by the authorized body in the field of archival affairs and documentation management in coordination with the authorized body in the field of cybersecurity.

5. Storage, use and destruction of electronic documents and digital objects are carried out in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body in the field of archival affairs and documentation management.

This Code regulates public relations related to the implementation of architectural, urban planning and construction activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the formation of a full-fledged habitat and human activity, planning and development of settlements, interuniverse territories, ensuring the safety of construction sites at all stages of their life cycle.
