1. In case of injury (injury, contusion, injury) during the period of performance of his official duties, an employee pays him a one-time compensation, and in the event of his death (death) to persons entitled to receive it.

2. The procedure for payment of lump-sum compensation is established by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. In the event of death (death) of an employee due to illness, injury (injury, injury, contusion) received in the performance of official duties, or within a year after dismissal from service due to illness, injury (injury, injury, contusion) received in the performance of official duties, dependents or heirs are paid a one-time compensation in the amount of sixty months salary for the last position held.

4. One-time compensation for the determination of an employee's disability resulting from illness, injury (injury, injury, contusion) received in the performance of official duties or resulting from illness, injury (injury, injury, contusion) received in the performance of official duties, before the expiration of one year from the date of dismissal of the employee from law enforcement service, is paid in the amount of:

1) a person with a disability of the first group - a thirty-month salary;

2) a person with a disability of the second group - an eighteen-month salary;

3) a person with a disability of the third group - a six-month salary.

5. If employees receive a serious injury (injury, injury, contusion) in the performance of their official duties that did not result in disability, they are paid a one-time compensation in the amount of one and a half months' salary, and a light injury - half a month's salary.

5-1. Employees dismissed from law enforcement agencies for health reasons as a result of injury (injury, injury, contusion) sustained in the performance of their official duties are paid monthly in the amount and in the manner determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

6. One-time compensation is not paid if it is proved in accordance with the established procedure that the death (death), illness, injury (injury, injury, concussion) of an employee occurred due to circumstances unrelated to the performance of official duties.

7. The children of an employee who died in the line of duty, until they reach the age of majority, retain the right to medical and sanatorium services in accordance with the procedure established by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

8. Children of employees who died or were disabled in the line of duty enjoy the right to enroll in military boarding schools and cadet corps out of competition, as well as those who score at the threshold level according to the requirements set for applicants are enrolled in law enforcement education organizations out of competition.

9. In the event of the death of an employee as a result of injury (injury, injury, contusion) sustained in the performance of official duties, family members of the deceased (deceased) The employee is paid monthly in the amount and in the manner determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Monthly cash payments are made to children (including adopted, adopted, cohabiting stepsons and stepdaughters) until they reach the age of majority or until they graduate from a full-time educational institution in the system of general secondary, technical and vocational, post-secondary education, in the system of higher and (or) postgraduate education within the limits not exceeding twenty-three years of age, as well as to the spouse for life, regardless of the payment of survivor's benefits provided for by the Social Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In case of remarriage to the spouse of the deceased An employee's monthly monetary payment is terminated as a result of injury (injury, injury, contusion) sustained in the performance of official duties.

The monthly cash payment is made from the date of submission of the application by the person entitled to receive it.

This Law regulates public relations related to admission to the law enforcement service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, its passage and termination, and also defines the legal status (status), financial support and social protection of law enforcement officers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
