1. In the field of construction, architecture and urban planning, information systems can be used at all stages, including the planning of settlements, design, expertise, construction and operation of construction facilities to automate various processes and simplify procedures.

2. Information systems in the field of construction, architecture and urban planning are state-owned and non-state-owned.

3. The application of state information systems in the field of architecture, urban planning and construction is determined by the authorized body for architecture, urban planning and construction.

4. Entities in the field of architecture, urban planning and construction, when carrying out their activities, are required to use state information systems in the field of construction, architecture and urban planning, as defined by the authorized body for architecture, urban planning and construction.

The authorized body for architecture, Urban Planning and construction is obliged to provide free access to subjects in the field of architecture, urban planning and construction when applying the state information system in the field of construction, architecture and urban planning, if this request is established by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In other cases, the result of the entities' activities is recognized as invalid and is subject to the application of appropriate measures provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 16, 2001 No. 242.

This Law regulates the relations that arise between government agencies, individuals and legal entities in the process of carrying out architectural, urban planning and construction activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is aimed at creating a full-fledged human habitat and vital activity, sustainable development of settlements and interuniverse territories.
