1. Information in the field of subsurface use is available, unless otherwise provided by this Code or other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The State ensures open access to:

1) information about auctions for granting the right of subsurface use, their conditions and results;

2) decisions of state bodies on granting and termination of the right of subsurface use;

3) information on the right of subsurface use, taking into account the types of subsurface use operations;

4) geological information, with the exception of geological information recognized as confidential in accordance with this Code or classified in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on state secrets.

3. The procedure for access to information in the field of subsurface use is determined by this Code and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4. Interested persons have the right to use free of charge open information, access to which is provided in accordance with this article.

5. Ensuring the availability of information by the state in the field of subsurface use is based on the mandatory reliability and completeness of information generated and submitted by officials and other participants in relations regulated by this Code.
