Article 7. Visa regime for foreigners and stateless persons of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On the Astana International Financial Center

     1. Foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan to carry out activities at the Center receive an entry visa at foreign institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan or upon arrival at international airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. Foreigners and stateless persons who are employees of the participants or bodies of the Center, investment residents of the Center and their family members receive an entry visa valid for up to five years.

     2-1. The issuance, cancellation, restoration, and shortening of the visa validity period for investment residents of the Center are carried out on the basis of a request from the Center's administration in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     3. The extension of the validity period of visas to persons specified in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Article, at the request of the administration of the Center, may be carried out without leaving the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     4. The conditions and procedure for entry into and exit from the Republic of Kazakhstan of foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the Republic of Kazakhstan to carry out activities at the Center are determined by the Center's authorities in coordination with the relevant state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     5. Citizens of the countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, the Republic of Singapore and the Principality of Monaco, as well as countries designated by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, are entitled to visa-free entry for up to thirty calendar days from the date of entry into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
