Article 8. Ensuring safety from natural and man-made, anthropogenic impacts of the Law on Architectural, Urban Planning and Construction Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan  

      1. The implementation of architectural, urban planning and construction activities should be based on the conditions for ensuring the requirements established by law for the safety of the population, territories and settlements from the effects of dangerous (harmful) natural and man-made, anthropogenic phenomena and processes.  

      Measures to meet these requirements should be reflected in the project documentation, which is regulated by government regulations.  

     2. State regulations (state regulatory documents) should provide for the mandatory inclusion in urban planning and architectural and construction documentation of sections on measures to protect the population, settlements and interuniverse territories from dangerous (harmful) impacts as a result of natural or man-made emergencies.  

     3. Settlements and territories subject to dangerous (harmful) impacts as a result of natural emergencies, as well as predicted man-made emergencies, must be provided with comprehensive design documentation to protect the population and territories from these impacts.  

     4. In settlements exposed to natural, man-made, and anthropogenic impacts, the results of monitoring of dangerous (harmful) phenomena and processes are reflected in the state urban planning cadastre at the basic level.  

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 16, 2001 No. 242.

This Law regulates the relations that arise between government agencies, individuals and legal entities in the process of carrying out architectural, urban planning and construction activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is aimed at creating a full-fledged human habitat and vital activity, sustainable development of settlements and interuniverse territories.
