Article 8. Provision of legal assistance in the interests of the client of the Law on Advocacy and Legal Assistance
The person providing legal assistance is obliged to perform his professional duties properly, taking the necessary measures to prevent harm to the interests of the client.
When providing legal assistance, the legal aid provider is obliged to explain to the client the possible results and consequences of legal assistance, including the nature and amount of financial costs.
The choice of legal assistance measures should be based on the interests of the client.
A person providing legal assistance is obliged to take measures to prevent conflicts of interest in the performance of professional duties.
