Article 8. Reports of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Constitutional Law on the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan

Article 8. Reports of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Constitutional Law on the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan annually submits to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan a report on his activities containing the results of an analysis of regulatory legal acts, consideration of complaints and the exercise of other powers in accordance with this Constitutional Law.

     2. The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan may prepare and distribute special reports on certain issues of respect for human and civil rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     3. The reports of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan are sent to the authorized state bodies for consideration on issues within their competence.

     The authorized state bodies, within three months from the date of receipt of the report of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, inform him of the results of the review of the report.

     4. The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan approves the procedure for the preparation and dissemination of the reports referred to in this article.

     5. The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan has the right to involve organizations and specialists in the preparation of reports on a contractual basis in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     6. The reports are to be published on the Internet resource of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan and distributed in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     This Constitutional Law defines the legal status and organization of the activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
