Article 80. Compensation in case of death (death) or injury of the Law on Special State Bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. In the event of the death (death) of an employee during his service or after his dismissal from service as a result of injury (contusion) or illness sustained during service, his heirs are paid a one-time compensation in the amount of sixty months of salary for the last position held on the day of death or the day of dismissal.
2. One-time compensation for the establishment of an employee's disability, received during his service or as a result of concussion, injury, illness related to service, before the expiration of one year from the date of dismissal from service, is paid in the amount of:
a person with a disability of the first group – a thirty-month salary;
for a person with a disability of the second group – an eighteen-month salary;
a person with a disability of the third group – a six-month salary.
3. If an employee receives a serious injury (injury, injury, contusion) during the performance of his duties, which did not result in disability, he is paid a one–time compensation in the amount of one and a half months' salary; and a minor injury - half a month's salary.
4. The procedure for payment of lump-sum compensation is established by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4-1. Employees dismissed from special state bodies for health reasons as a result of injury (injury, injury, contusion) sustained in the performance of their official duties are paid monthly in the amount and in the manner determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
5. One-time compensation is not paid if, in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is proved that the death (death) the employee's injury has occurred:
1) as a result of suicide, except in cases of driving to suicide;
2) when committing criminal or administrative offenses;
3) as a result of the use of substances that cause a state of alcoholic, narcotic, psychotropic, substance abuse intoxication (their analogues);
4) as a result of intentionally inflicting any bodily injury (self-mutilation) or other harm to one's health in order to receive one-time compensation or evade service;
5) as a result of the actions of an employee who violated the terms of the contract.

This Law defines the status of special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as special state bodies), regulates public relations related to admission to service in special state bodies, its passage and termination, and also defines the legal status, financial support and social protection of employees of special state bodies.
