Article 80. Repeat elections of deputies of the Senate of the Constitutional Law on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. If the elections were declared invalid due to the failure of the required number of electors, or they were declared invalid, or they were not elected when two candidates were running, the Central Election Commission, on the recommendation of the relevant territorial Election Commission, decides to hold repeat elections.
2. Repeated elections are held no later than two months after the initial elections. The nomination and registration of candidates for deputies and other measures, the implementation of which is provided for in the case of repeat elections, are carried out in accordance with the rules established by this Constitutional Law. At the same time, the shortened terms of election events are determined by the Central Election Commission.
3. The announcement of the repeat elections is published in the local mass media.
