Article 88. Types of forest management in the areas of the State Forest Fund of the Forest Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1. The following types of forest management can be carried out in the state forest fund:

1) harvesting of wood;

2) harvesting of oleoresin, tree juices;

3) harvesting of secondary wood resources;

4) secondary forest uses (haymaking, cattle grazing, maral breeding, animal husbandry, placement of beehives and apiaries, horticulture, melon growing, gardening and cultivation of other agricultural crops, harvesting and harvesting of medicinal plants and technical raw materials, wild fruits, nuts, mushrooms, berries and other foodstuffs, moss, forest litter and fallen leaves, reeds);

5) the use of the plots of the state forest fund for the needs of hunting, as well as for fisheries and fish farming, including on water bodies located on the plots of the state forest fund;

6) use of the state forest fund plots for scientific research purposes;

7) use of the state forest fund plots for recreational, historical, cultural, tourist and sports purposes;

8) the use of plots of the state forest fund for the cultivation of planting material for tree and shrub species and plantation plantations for special purposes.

2. The use of plots of the state forest fund may be carried out both with and without the withdrawal of forest resources.

3. A plot of the state forest fund may be provided for the implementation of one or more types of forest management to one or more forest users.

4. The specifics of the use of forest resources and areas of the state forest fund in the implementation of certain types of forest management are determined by acts of the authorized body in accordance with this Code.
