Article 9. Chairman of the District Court of the Constitutional Law on the Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The Chairman of the district court is a judge and, along with performing the duties of a judge,:
1) decides on the organization of legal proceedings in court;
2) Excluded by the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 12/30/2022 No. 176-VII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).
3) conducts a personal reception for citizens;
3-1) approves the work plan of the district court;
4) organizes internships for candidates for the position of judge;
5) ensures the work on combating corruption and compliance with the norms of judicial ethics;
6) issues orders;
7) exercise other powers provided for by law.
2. In case of temporary absence of the chairman of the district court, by order of the chairman of this court, the performance of his duties is assigned to one of the judges of this court.
In the absence of the chairman or judges in a district court, the performance of their duties is assigned to judges of another court by order of the chairman of the regional court in consultation with the Chairman of the Supreme Court.
In case of early termination or expiration of the term of office of the chairman of the district court, the temporary performance of the duties of the chairman is assigned by order of the chairman of the regional court to one of the judges of this court.
