Comment to article 407. Procedure for proceedings in cases of private prosecution The Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Proceedings in cases of private prosecution, which include cases of criminal offenses provided for in the second part of Article 32 of this Code, are determined by the general rules of this Code with exceptions established by this chapter.

Private prosecution cases are initiated only on the complaint of the victim and are subject to termination after reconciliation with the accused.
