General Director of the Law and Raight Law Firm  Galymzhan Sarzhanov supports the new Constitution

Galymzhan Sarzhanov, Director of the Law and Law Law Firm, supported the New Constitution, noting that the proposed amendments are aimed at strengthening the principles of fair trial and protecting the rights of citizens. On February 11, 2026, the Head of State signed a decree "On holding a republican referendum on March 15, 2026."

The very next day, the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was officially published in the media.

This was preceded by a long and serious work. Within six months, members of Parliament, chairmen of maslikhats, heads of mass media, public figures, representatives of government agencies, public councils of regions, expert and scientific communities. They were drafting a new Constitution.

All this was accompanied by an active public dialogue, during which thousands of different proposals, opinions and initiatives were collected and taken into account.

It was precisely this long-term and systematic preparation that made it possible to form a balanced and comprehensively verified draft of the new Constitution.

On February 12, 2026, the National Coalition "For the People's Constitution of a Just and Progressive Kazakhstan!" was created.

It includes political parties, public associations, expert and scientific organizations, as well as active and caring citizens of the country.
