Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 14, 2008 No. 535

To be published in the Acts of the President and Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan

           I DECREE :

     1. To approve the attached National Action Plan for Implementation Address of the Head of State to the People of Kazakhstan dated February 6, 2008 "Improving the welfare of citizens of Kazakhstan is the main goal of state policy" (hereinafter - the National Plan).

     2. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan: 1) to develop and approve, within one month, an action plan for the implementation of the National Plan; 2) to ensure that information and explanatory work is carried out on a systematic basis on the provisions of the Address of the Head of State to the People of Kazakhstan dated February 6, 2008; 3) annually, by January 25 and July 25, based on the results of the half-year and the year, provide to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for information on the implementation of the National Plan.

     3. The first heads of state bodies directly subordinate and accountable to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, central and local executive bodies, and other state bodies: 1) ensure strict and timely implementation of the National Plan; 2) annually, by January 10 and July 10, based on the results of the half-year and the year, provide information to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the progress of implementation of the National Plan.

     4. Control over the implementation of this Decree is entrusted to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     5. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of signing.
