Protocol on Amendments and Additions to the Protocol on the Procedure for Monitoring the Intended Use of Military Products Supplied under the Agreement on the Basic Principles of Military-Technical Cooperation between the States Parties to the Collective Security Treaty of May 15, 1992
The member States of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, hereinafter referred to as the Parties, guided by the provisions of the Concept of Collective Security and the Main Provisions of the Coalition Strategy of the States Parties to the Collective Security Treaty of May 15, 1992 (hereinafter referred to as the - Agreement) that their armed forces are part of the forces and means of the collective security system and can be included in coalition (regional) groups of forces in order to implement article 4 of the Treaty, striving to increase the effectiveness of interaction within the framework of the Agreement on the Basic Principles of Military-Technical Cooperation between the States parties to the Treaty (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement) and the Protocol on the procedure for monitoring the intended use of military products supplied under the Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Protocol), we agreed on the following:
Article 1
Article 2 of the Protocol shall be worded as follows: The subject of the control is military products supplied on preferential terms in accordance with articles 1, 2, 6 and 10 (in the new numbering) Agreements.
Article 2
In the second paragraph of Article 3 of the Protocol, the words "military formations allocated to multilateral forces and assets in the regions of collective security" should be replaced by the words "national armed forces".
Article 3
In the text of article 13, the number of article 10 should be replaced by 11.
Article 4
This Protocol is an integral part of the Protocol on the Procedure for Monitoring the Intended Use of Military Products Supplied under the Agreement on the Basic Principles of Military-Technical Cooperation between the States Parties to the Collective Security Treaty of May 15, 1992.
Article 5
This Protocol shall enter into force in accordance with the procedure provided for in article 14 (in the new numbering) Agreements.
Done in one original copy in Russian. The original copy is kept at the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which will send a certified copy to each signatory State of this Protocol.
