To ratify the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on Principles and Approaches of State Control (Supervision) over Compliance with the Requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union in order to Harmonize the Legislation of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union in this Area dated February 16, 2021, signed in Moscow on May 8, 2024.

Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on Principles and Approaches of State Control (Supervision) over Compliance with the Requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union in order to Harmonize the Legislation of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union in this Area dated February 16, 2021

The member States of the Eurasian Economic Union, hereinafter referred to as the Member States,

based on the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014,

Guided by paragraph 3 of Article 12 of the Agreement on Principles and Approaches for State Control (Supervision) over Compliance with the Requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union in order to Harmonize the Legislation of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union in this Area dated February 16, 2021 (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement),

have agreed on the following:

Article 1

To make the following changes to Article 8 of the Agreement:

1) in paragraph 1, replace the words "on dangerous products" with the words "on products that do not comply with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Union";

2) in the first paragraph of paragraph 2 and paragraph 3, replace the words "on dangerous products" with the words "on products that do not comply with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Union,";

3) in paragraph 4, replace the words "on dangerous products" with the words "on products that do not comply with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Union."

Article 2

This Protocol shall enter into force upon the expiration of 30 calendar days from the date of receipt by the depositary through diplomatic channels of the last written notification on the completion by the Member States of the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of this Protocol.

Done in Moscow on May 8, 2024, in one original copy in the Russian language.

The original copy of this Protocol shall be kept in the Eurasian Economic Commission, which, as the depositary of this Protocol, will send a certified copy to each Member State.
