On the abolition of customs control at the border of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the Russian Federation

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 19, 1995 N 2463

In accordance with the Agreement on the Customs Union between the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 20, 1995 and in order to implement the agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan on the completion of the first stage of the formation of the Customs Union, I decree:    

1. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan:    

to abolish customs control at the border of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the Russian Federation, to ensure control at this border over transit cargoes of third countries according to a special schedule;    

to begin the implementation of joint customs control on the Kazakh and Russian sections of the external border of the Customs Union.    

2. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of publication.
