On the accession of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Geneva Conventions of June 7, 1930
Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 21, 1995 No. 2418.
In accordance with article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 10, 1993 "On the temporary delegation of additional powers to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and heads of local administrations", I hereby decree:
1. To accede to the Geneva Conventions of June 7, 1930:
to the Convention Establishing a Uniform law on Bills of Exchange and Promissory Notes. The accession is subject to the reservations provided for in articles 2-4, 6-15, 17, 18, 20 of Annex II to the said Convention.;
to a Convention aimed at resolving certain differences in the laws on bills of exchange and promissory notes;
to the Convention on Stamp Duty in Respect of Bills of Exchange and Promissory Notes.
2. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of publication.
