On the appointment of elections to the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 2, 1995 N 2473
In accordance with subparagraph 2) paragraph 1 of Article 44 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Article 128 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has the force of the Constitutional Law, Z952464_ "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan", I decree:
1. To appoint elections of deputies:
1) The Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 5, 1995;
2) The Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 9, 1995.
2. To establish that electoral events for the election of deputies:
1) The Senate - are held in accordance with the procedure and terms established by Articles 70-82, 129 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has the force of the Constitutional Law, "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan";
2) Mazhilis - are held in accordance with the procedure and terms established by Articles 86-98 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has the force of the Constitutional Law, "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan".
3. Akims of regions, Almaty city, districts, towns, and districts in cities shall form territorial, district, and precinct election commissions no later than seven days after the date of entry into force of this Decree in accordance with the requirements of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has the force of the Constitutional Law "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan". The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall be informed immediately about the decisions taken.
4. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the akims of the regions and the city of Almaty should immediately take all necessary measures for the organizational, logistical and financial support of the parliamentary elections.
5. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan should take measures to register the election funds of candidates for deputies of the Mazhilis within the time limits that ensure the timely conduct of election events.
6. This Decree comes into force from the date of publication.
