On the establishment of the National Academic Center for Agrarian Research of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 24, 1996 No. 3001

In order to further develop agricultural science, concentrate the scientific and technical potential of the branches of the agro-industrial complex and strengthen the contribution of agricultural science to meeting the needs of the republic in food and agricultural raw materials, I decree:      

1. To establish the National Academic Center for Agrarian Research of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of scientific research institutions, experimental farms and experimental enterprises of the agricultural profile of the Ministry of Science-the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.      

2. To establish that the National Academic Center for Agrarian Research of the Republic of Kazakhstan is an independent integrated scientific and technical association subordinate to the Ministry of Science - the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is responsible for scientific support of the agro-industrial complex of the country.      

3. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall take the necessary measures to implement this Decree.
