On the intention of the Republic of Kazakhstan not to become a party to the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Canada on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 14, 2025 No. 947.

  In accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 18 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 30, 2005 "On International Treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan", I HEREBY DECREE:

     1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the procedure established by law, notify Canada of the intention of the Republic of Kazakhstan not to become a party to the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Canada on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters, concluded in Ottawa on June 25, 2003.

     2. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of signing.
