About receiving videos

On March 27, 2026, K. RA applied to the Turan district police Department of Shymkent with a statement addressed to Abdusheva Shahida Dilmuratovna regarding the theft on the territory of the Zhibek Zholy market.
In accordance with the circumstances specified in the said application, systematic attempts were made by a suspicious person to secretly acquire other people's property. The venue for these events is the territory of the Zhibek Zholy market, and surveillance cameras are installed on this territory, including near boutiques No. 16 and No. 17, as well as in neighboring retail outlets.
In this regard, for a complete and objective determination of the exact time, manner, scope of the facts of theft, as well as the persons involved in it, video surveillance records have the most important evidentiary value for a criminal case.
In addition, according to the market Administration, the videos are stored only for a limited period of time, in connection with which they are threatened with extinction, which, in turn, can interfere with a comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.
In accordance with Article 254 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, seizure is made for the purpose of seizure of certain things and documents relevant to the case, if it is clearly known where and with whom they are located, as well as property subject to confiscation.
In this regard, guided by the requirements of Article 254 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan,
I ASK YOU:
* Request in full from the administration of the Zhibek Zholy market, as well as from the owners of all outlets with video surveillance systems located in this territory all video surveillance records related to the period of theft near boutiques No. 16 and No. 17;
* Acquisition, consideration, approval and registration of these videos as evidence in the materials of the criminal case in accordance with Article 254 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the requirements of the Criminal Procedure Law;
* Take measures to ensure the prompt receipt and storage of video recordings in order to prevent their destruction.
