Article 10. The right to social protection of the Social Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Social protection is provided to persons (families) upon the occurrence of the conditions established by this Code in the form of:
1) social protection for families with children;
2) measures of social protection against unemployment and ensuring employment of the population, as well as social benefits in case of job loss, subject to participation in the compulsory social insurance system;
3) targeted social assistance to individuals (families) with an average per capita income below the poverty line;
4) provision of special social services to persons (families) recognized as needing special social services;
5) social protection of persons with disabilities;
6) social assistance to certain categories of citizens through the payment of special state benefits, in accordance with this Code and the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
6-1) social protection of persons engaged in work with harmful working conditions;
7) pension provision;
8) social protection of persons who have lost a breadwinner;
9) a one-time payment for burial in the event of the death of the recipient of age pension payments or the recipient of the state basic pension payment, state social benefits to his family or to the person who carried out the burial.
2. The rights provided for in this article shall be exercised in accordance with the procedure and under the conditions provided for in the Special Part of this Code.
