Article 105. Incitement to suicide, inducement to commit suicide or assistance in committing suicide of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Driving a person to commit suicide or attempted suicide by threats, ill-treatment or systematic humiliation of the victim's human dignity, as well as inducing or facilitating suicide –
are punishable by restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years or imprisonment for the same term.
2. The same act committed by:
1) in relation to a person who is obviously helpless for the perpetrator, or who is financially or otherwise dependent on the perpetrator;
2) in relation to two or more persons;
3) a group of persons by prior agreement or a criminal group;
4) through the use of telecommunications networks, information facilities, including the Internet, –
is punishable by restriction of liberty for a term of up to five years or imprisonment for the same term.
3. The acts provided for in the first or second parts of this article committed against a minor, –
are punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to nine years.
