Article 155. Cadastral division of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Land Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Cadastral division of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carried out for the purpose of assigning cadastral numbers to land plots.
The unit of cadastral division of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan is accounting quarters.
2. Cadastral numbers shall be assigned to each land plot for the purpose of determining its location (identification), with the exception of the cases provided for in parts two and three of paragraph 3 of this Article.
3. The boundaries of the accounting quarters, which are subsequently used in the legal cadastre, in coordination with the authorities of architecture and urban planning, state registration of rights to immovable property are determined by the authorized bodies of regions, cities of republican significance, the capital, districts, cities of regional significance at the location of the land plot and approved by the relevant local executive bodies.
One identification document with the assignment of a cadastral number to the accounting quarter is produced and issued for land plots within the boundaries of the accounting quarter occupied by kolochny forests.
One identification document with the assignment of one cadastral number is produced and issued for land plots within the boundaries of the accounting quarter occupied by poles of one overhead power transmission line.
4. The list of codes assigned to regions, cities of republican significance, the capital, districts and cities of regional (district) significance for the purposes of forming cadastral numbers of land plots shall be established by the central authorized body.
