Article 17. Duties of officials, government agencies, and organizations to comply with the Rules of military Registration of conscripts and conscripts The Law on Military Service and the Status of Military Personnel
1. Akims of a district, a city of regional significance, a settlement, a village, a rural district, as well as heads of organizations in which conscripts and conscripts work, are obliged, within the limits of their competence.:
1) notify conscripts and conscripts of their summons to local military authorities;
2) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 08.01.2013 No. 64-V (effective from 01.01.2013);
3) provide the relevant local military administration bodies of districts (cities of regional significance) with documents confirming the quantitative and qualitative composition of military conscripts, conscripts and pre-conscripts;
4) to ensure the delivery of citizens from other localities to the conscription (assembly) points of regions, cities of republican significance, the capital, districts, cities of regional significance during the conscription of citizens for military service.

3. The internal affairs bodies, within the limits of their competence, are obliged to search for persons who evade military duty.
4. Information on conscripts and conscripts about the change of surname, first name, patronymic (if it is indicated in the identity document), date, place of birth, place of work (study); on the availability of education; on the composition of the family; on the availability of a driver's license; on being in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan; on registration of death; recognized persons persons with disabilities; those undergoing inpatient treatment and undergoing dynamic monitoring; on registration and de-registration of citizens at their place of residence; on the presence or absence of a criminal offense committed by a person; in respect of which an inquiry or preliminary investigation is being conducted; in respect of which criminal cases are being considered by the court, as well as verdicts that have entered into force against them, local military authorities of the district (city of regional significance) receive information from the information systems of authorized bodies operating in these areas by ensuring the interaction of information systems of state bodies.
If there is no interaction between the state information systems, the information is sent to the local military authorities of the district (city of regional significance) within three working days.
5. The bodies of inquiry and preliminary investigation are obliged, within seven working days, to inform the local military authorities of districts (cities of regional significance) about conscripts and conscripts in respect of whom an inquiry or preliminary investigation is underway, and the courts about conscripts and conscripts in respect of whom criminal cases are being considered by the court, as well as about those who have entered into legal force in their relation to the sentences.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of military service by citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and defines the foundations of the state policy on social security for military personnel.
