Article 231. Types of covert investigative actions CPC RK Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     According to the provisions of this chapter, the following secret investigative actions are carried out:

     1) unspoken audio and/or video surveillance of a person or place;

     2) secret control, interception and removal of information transmitted over electrical (telecommunication) communication networks;

     3) covertly obtaining information about connections between subscribers and (or) subscriber devices;

     4) secret removal of information from computers, servers and other devices designed to collect, process, accumulate and store information;

     5) secret control of postal and other items;

     6) covert penetration and/or site inspection;

     7) covert surveillance of a person or place;

     8) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07/03/2017 No. 84-VI (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication);

     9) secret control purchase;

     10) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 27, 2019 No. 292-VI (for the procedure of entry into force, see art. 2).
