1. The legislator defines only two types of sentences – guilty and acquittal. This is due to the differences in their decisions on the main issues of the criminal case.
In any case, only one verdict is passed in the case, regardless of the number of defendants. Even if the defendant is charged under several articles of the Criminal Code, when passing sentence, the court must indicate which episodes of the charges the defendant was acquitted of and which were found guilty of. Similarly, in one verdict against several defendants, the court indicates the acquittal of some defendants and the conviction of others.
