Article 25. Passport of a specially protected natural area The Law on Specially Protected Natural Territories
1. The state bodies in charge of specially protected natural territories shall draw up a passport of the established sample for each such territory and register it with the authorized body.
Each copy of the registered passport is an original.
The rules for the development and registration (re-registration) of passports of specially protected natural territories of national and local significance are approved by the authorized body.
2. The passport of a specially protected natural area indicates:
1) the name of a specially protected natural area, its type and category;
2) the name, number and date of the adoption of the act of the state body that created or expanded the specially protected natural area;
3) the name of the state body responsible for the specially protected natural area;
4) the name of the organization charged with protecting a specially protected natural area that does not have the status of a legal entity;
5) the location of a specially protected natural area with a schematic map with the definition of tourist infrastructure, geographical coordinates, a description of the boundaries, the area of its territory and the protected area;
6) a list of objects of the state nature reserve fund located in a specially protected natural area with their quantitative and qualitative characteristics;
6-1) objects of a specially protected natural area have the status of a "Scientific natural object – a national treasure";
7) functional zones of a specially protected natural area and the type of their protection regime, information about related land owners and land users, their obligations and encumbrances on environmental management in the protected area;
8) permitted and prohibited types of activities, as well as restrictions on certain types of activities in specially protected natural areas;
9) visiting rules, working hours, recreational activities.
3. The passport of an environmental organization is held by the environmental organization, the state body in charge of which the environmental organization is located, and the authorized body.
The passport of state natural monuments, state nature reserves, and state protected areas is held by the organization responsible for protecting these types of specially protected natural territories, the state body responsible for this organization, and the authorized body.
The passports specified in parts one and two of this paragraph are posted on the authorized body's Internet resource.
4. In cases of changes in the purpose, reorganization, or expansion of a specially protected natural area, its passport is re-registered.

This Law regulates public relations on the creation, expansion, protection, restoration, sustainable use and management of specially protected natural territories and objects of the state nature reserve fund, representing special ecological, scientific, historical, cultural and recreational value, as well as being a component of the national, regional and global ecological network.
