Article 309. Organization or maintenance of brothels for prostitution , provision of other sexual services and pandering The Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1. Organization or maintenance of brothels for prostitution, provision of other sexual services, as well as pandering for mercenary purposes –

are punishable by imprisonment for a term of up to five years with confiscation of property.

2. The same acts committed:

1) by a group of persons by prior agreement;

2) repeatedly;

3) through the use of telecommunications networks, information facilities, including the Internet;

4) by propaganda and (or) advertising of prostitution and other sexual services for these purposes;

5) involving a minor in prostitution or providing other sexual services, –

are punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to seven years with confiscation of property.

3. The acts provided for in the first or second parts of this article, committed by a criminal group, –

are punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to ten years with confiscation of property.
