1. Specialized technical committees in the field of technical standardization are formed by the authorized body for architecture, urban planning and construction in order to involve competent specialists and practitioners in the process of improving state regulatory documents.

Specialized technical committees in the field of technical standardization are established and operate at the National Institute of Technical Standardization in Construction.

The position and procedure of the specialized technical committees in the field of technical standardization are determined by the authorized body for architecture, urban planning and construction.

2. Specialized technical committees in the field of technical standardization in accordance with the objects of technical standardization assigned to them.:

1) prepare proposals for the development, processing, modification and cancellation of regulatory technical documents;

2) participate in the development and processing of regulatory technical documents in the relevant areas of activity;

3) participate in the work of technical committees (subcommittees, working groups) in the field of technical standardization of international and regional organizations;

4) perform other functions established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. This article does not apply to technical committees for standardization regulated by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Standardization".
