1. Officials who carry out state architectural and construction control and supervision include:

1) state construction inspectors of the authorized body for architecture, urban planning and construction;

2) state construction inspectors of regions, cities of republican significance, and the capital, who carry out state architectural and construction control and supervision.

2. State construction inspectors of the state body exercising state architectural and construction control and supervision must be certified in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body for architecture, urban planning and construction.

State construction inspectors have badges in the form approved by the authorized body for architecture, urban Planning and construction.

The badge is issued to the state building inspector after passing the certification procedure.

No one has the right to interfere in the work of the state building inspector in the exercise of state architectural and construction control and supervision.

Interference in the activities or obstruction of the activities of officials exercising state architectural and construction control and supervision shall entail liability established by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. Qualification requirements for the chief state construction inspectors of regions, cities of republican significance, and the capital are subject to approval by the authorized body for architecture, urban planning, and construction.

4. State construction inspectors are required to:

to carry out state architectural and construction control and supervision in accordance with the procedure established by the Business Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and this Code;

identify and analyze the causes of violations of state regulatory documents and requirements (conditions, restrictions) committed by subjects of architectural, urban planning and construction activities in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

develop measures to improve architectural and construction control and supervision;

participate in the stage of acceptance of construction projects into operation.
