Article 520. Issues resolved by the court when making a decision on the case of the CPC RK Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The following issues should be investigated and resolved during the trial of the case:
1) has there been an act provided for by the criminal law;
2) has the person about whom the case is being considered committed the act;
3) has the person being investigated committed the act in a state of insanity;
4) has this person become ill after committing an act prohibited by criminal law with a mental disorder that makes it impossible to impose or execute punishment;
5) do the person's painful mental disorders pose a danger to him or others, or the possibility of causing them other significant harm;
6) whether and which compulsory medical measure is to be applied.
2. The Court also resolves the issues specified in paragraphs 10), 11) and 12) of the first part of Article 390 of this Code.
