1. If a delay in the extradition of a person (extradition) may lead to the expiration of the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution or the loss or loss of evidence in a criminal case, a request for the temporary extradition of a person (extradition) may be sent, which is prepared in accordance with the procedure provided for in Article 580 of this Code.

2. If a request for temporary extradition of a person is granted, that person must be returned to the relevant foreign country within the agreed time limit.

3. If necessary, the body conducting the process prepares documents on the extension of the period for the temporary extradition of a person (extradition), which are sent to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan no later than twenty days before the end of the period for the temporary extradition of a person (extradition).
