Article 60. The procedure for making a preliminary decision on the origin of goods of the Customs Regulation Code in the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. The procedure for making a preliminary decision on the origin of goods is determined by this chapter.

     2. A preliminary decision on the origin of the goods is made by the customs authorities designated by the authorized body (hereinafter referred to in this chapter as the customs authority).

     3. A preliminary decision on the origin of the goods is made for each item imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union from a specific country.

     4. The form of the preliminary decision on the origin of the goods, the procedure for filling it out and making changes (additions) to such a preliminary decision on the origin of the goods shall be determined by the Commission.

     5. In case of loss of the preliminary decision on the origin of the goods by the person who received it, the customs authority, on the basis of an application containing information about the lost preliminary decision on the origin of the goods, shall, within five working days from the date of receipt by the customs authority of the application, issue to such person a duplicate of the preliminary decision on the origin of the goods.

     When issuing a duplicate, no customs fee is charged for making a preliminary decision.

     To obtain a duplicate, the applicant submits an application in any form in the form of an electronic document or a paper document to the customs authority that made the preliminary decision on the origin of the goods.

     The duplicate of the preliminary decision on the origin of the goods reflects all the information contained in the original of the preliminary decision on the origin of the goods, including the registration number and date of the preliminary decision on the origin of the goods, and is marked "Duplicate".

     The validity period of a duplicate of the preliminary decision on the origin of the goods is the validity period of the original of the preliminary decision on the origin of the goods.
