Article 706. Claims and lawsuits on cargo transportation of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1. Before filing a claim against the carrier arising from the carriage of goods, it is mandatory to file a claim against him in accordance with the procedure provided for by legislative acts.

2. The limitation period for claims arising from the carriage of goods is set at one year.

3. The rules of this article do not apply to the requirements arising from the carriage of passengers and baggage.
