1. The residential area of a settlement is intended for residential buildings, including individual residential buildings.

2. The residential area must be provided with separate and (or) built-in residential buildings (attached to them) objects of social, engineering and transport infrastructure.

3. The residential area should be provided with parking lots and parking areas for vehicles, the necessary parking area in accordance with the number of apartments, playgrounds and sports grounds, including accessibility for low-mobility groups of the population.

4. Hotels, above-ground and underground garages (parking lots), open parking lots for temporary storage of cars, electric charging stations, as well as industrial facilities, the location and operation of which does not have an environmental impact requiring the establishment of sanitary protection zones, are allowed in the residential area.

5. In some cases, residential areas may also include the territories of horticultural and dacha associations located within the boundaries of a locality.
