Employees who were awarded special ranks and class ranks before the enactment of this Law, the terms of service in these special ranks and class ranks are calculated in accordance with the legislation in force before the enactment of this Law.

Chapter 9 of this Law regarding pension provision, preferential taxation, payment of monetary allowances during their temporary disability, monetary compensation for housing maintenance and utility bills does not apply to customs officials, and applies to employees of the Prosecutor's Office from January 1, 2012.

This Law applies to the State Courier Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its employees, with the exception of articles 3, 4, 5, 9, 45-1, sub-items 2), 3), 4), 7) and 8) paragraph 1 of Article 60, sub-paragraphs 1), 3), 4), 5), 6) and 8) of paragraph 1 of Article 61, sub-paragraphs 3) and 3-1) of Article 69, paragraph 5 of Article 72, Article 75, subparagraph 12-1) of paragraph 1 of Article 80, Article 83 of this Law.

Article 59, sub-paragraphs 1), 5) and 6) of paragraph 1, paragraphs 1-1, 1-2 and 2 of Article 60, sub-paragraphs 2), 2-1) and 7) of paragraph 1, paragraph 2 of Article 61 and Article 62 of this Law apply to employees of the State courier service of the Republic of Kazakhstan in connection with the performance of their official duties. responsibilities for the implementation of government courier communications to ensure the protection of state secrets.

The positions of ordinary, junior and middle commanding officers are filled on a competitive basis upon admission to the law enforcement service until January 1, 2021.

Employees of the prosecutor's office who were dismissed from service before January 1, 2012, are entitled to pension payments for their service in accordance with the pension legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The amount of pension payments is established on the date of dismissal from service, taking into account annual increases made in accordance with the procedure established by the pension legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, payment is made from the date of application for the appointment of pension payments for years of service.
