1. Within the boundaries (boundaries) of a locality, it is allowed to place a special-purpose zone designated for cemeteries, crematoriums, animal burial grounds (biothermal pits), landfills of solid household waste, waste treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, and other facilities, the use of which is impossible without the establishment of special regulations and rules.

2. The need to establish sanitary protection zones separating the facilities specified in paragraph 1 of this article from residential and recreational areas, buildings and structures for residential and civil purposes, and infrastructure facilities of a locality is established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. The responsibilities for the maintenance of a special-purpose zone are assigned to the owner of the enterprise (land user) and other persons in whose lawful use they are, unless otherwise provided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
