Article 90. Criminal Executive Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. a convicted person is sent to serve a sentence no later than ten days from the date of receipt by the administration of a mixed Security Institution of a court order on the execution of a sentence that has entered into legal force, which includes::
1) when the sentence enters into legal force, laboratory-confirmed bacterial excretion is detected, until it stops, tuberculosis patients;
2) in the absence of the need for further inpatient treatment, before recovery, a person has other dangerous infectious diseases;
3) in respect of them, an identity document is issued;
4) convicted persons who have no more than one month left until the end of the term of serving their sentence.
During this period, the convicted person:
1) meet with a lawyer in cases of unlimited number, duration and confidentiality;
2) short-term meetings with the spouse, relatives or other persons;
3) a telephone conversation with a duration of fifteen minutes, paid from his own personal funds or from the funds of other persons.
2.the administration of a mixed Security Institution, at the choice of the convicted person, is obliged to send a written notification to the spouse (s) or one of the relatives or other person within two working days about where he is sent to serve his sentence.
3.in the event of the right to submit a petition to the court for consideration of the issue of parole from serving a sentence or replacement of the unserved part of the sentence with a more lenient form of punishment, the administration of a mixed Security Institution is obliged to perform the measures provided for in parts one and nine of Article 162 of this code.
At the same time, the conditions established by this code apply for the same type of institution assigned to them by the court during the period when convicted persons are waiting for a court decision.
