1. Tuberculosis prevention measures are carried out by:

1) conducting epidemiological surveillance of the prevalence of tuberculosis among the population;

2) specific prevention, including vaccination according to the National Vaccination Calendar;

3) early detection of tuberculosis;

4) treatment of active tuberculosis and latent tuberculosis infection;

5) the application of a set of infection control measures aimed at preventing the transmission of the causative agent of tuberculosis through the ambient air in an inhabited environment;

6) social prevention: improving the living conditions of the population and the quality of nutrition; combating non-medical use of psychoactive substances, smoking; instilling personal hygiene skills in everyday life; development of physical culture and sports;

7) informing the population through the mass media about the epidemic situation of tuberculosis and about preventive measures;

8) development and dissemination of information materials on tuberculosis prevention for various population groups, including through social networks and mass media;

9) placement and implementation of state social grants and state social orders through non-governmental organizations.

2. Tuberculosis prevention measures are carried out in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body.
